Featuring MICHELE MAXWELL & MARK ELDERKIN (and a piano).
This two hander, written by Nicholas Ellenbogen and directed by Debi Hawkins, is set in 1930’s Bulawayo at the height of British colonial snobbery.
Someone who certainly differs from their ways is Moira O’Donnel, an Irish piano teacher, who after years of gypsying around the world, has ended up in Bulawayo.
She is besotted with jazz (or “That devil music” as the hoity toity’s call it) has no truck with authority and, to top it all, become very friendly with one of her students, a personable and socially acceptable much younger man, Richard Summerville.
