What Remains

What Remains, the new play from multiple award-winning writer Nadia Davids (At Her Feet, Cissie), is created by a theatrical dream team, with direction and original choreography by Jay Pather, starring Denise Newman, Faniswa Yisa, Shaun Oelf and Buhle Ngaba.

Inspired in part by the discovery of a slave burial ground in Cape Town, What Remains fuses text and dance to tell a story of memory and magic, about a place haunted by its past, a history that burrows to the surface and a city in crisis.
