Ragas of the Valley

Ragas of the Valley is a concert of Indian Classical music celebrating the legacy of legends Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, commonly referred to as the composer duo Shiv-Hari.

The concert will feature works from their extensive repertoire spanning a diverse cross-section including pure classical ragas and items from Call of the Valley through to their film compositions. The concert features a duet of santoor and flute led by Santosh Sant (flute) and Sandip Chatterjee (santoor) accompanied by Subhankar Banerjee (tabla) and Bhawani Shankar (pakhawaj and side percussion).
