Gqom Vs Trap

Gqom vs Trap is all about showing the different talent that we have in our community. The concept we have come up with is inspired by the struggles of our individual past. We are challenged to understand that the idea of poverty comes with the mind and not the circumstance by which we find ourselves. Hence, growing up in unprivileged homes does not limit a person’s mind from becoming a pioneer in the community nor the world as one.

The event is about storytelling, and it is a platform where artists from different backgrounds and music-lovers (from all over Cape Town) will be expressing themselves through music. “Gqom vs Trap” is a hip hop inspired event!
