JOYA - JOBURG YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL

The Joburg Youth Arts Festival (JoYA) is an initiative born out of the need to showcase original work from young artist to theatre funding bodies and patrons of the arts, we aim to cultivate an audience for the arts while connecting its creators with the relevant people to be able to further develop the work, with the growing number of performing arts graduates a need has arose for the industry to follow suite, the festival will provide graduates a platform to showcase their talent while acquiring the skills to navigate a career in the arts.

Initiated as a tool to answer the question “What now “The festival aims to create a platform where these young people can share resources, knowledge
