Buddhism and the environment:
His Holiness Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche is the spiritual head of the Drikung Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. He was recognised as the 37th throne holder at 4 years old and at age 11 gave his first public teaching.
His Holiness holds teachings and initiations of all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism and is considered to be an emanation of the Buddha of compassion like His Holiness Dalai Lama and HH Karmapa. Besides vast Dharma activities, His Holiness has founded the “Go Green and Go Organic” project throughout the Himalayan region to protect the environment.
