The Webtickets Team
Christy Turner is the co-founder of Webtickets and is responsible for product development and IT strategy. Christy has been involved in the IT industry for the past 15 years, focusing on web strategy and development. He has consulted to media companies in the UK including NTL.com, IMGWorld and Trans World International (TWI), where he has helped with their new media strategy. Closer to home, in SA he has consulted to the financial services industry before founding Webtickets with Jonathan. Christy is an Engineering graduate from the University of Cape Town.
Jonathan Wayne is responsible for the operational and financial running of Webtickets. He is a chartered accountant by profession and worked for companies including Barclays Capital (UK), LloydsTSB(UK) and Absa. At LloydsTSB he was head of finance for the strategic ventures division where he was responsible for the setting up of alliances and distribution partnerships. Back in SA, he has helped Absa with their banking alliance strategy and development. He is currently a director of Citadel Nominees (PTY) LTD. He is a Business Science graduate from the University of Cape Town.
