Thirty-seven years ago, Richard Cock conducted the FSSO in Mendelssohn's Elijah with a 10-year-old Charl du Plessis as the boy soprano. On Saturday, 19 October, the Charl du Plessis Trio and Richard Cock reunite with the FSSO for a unique concert featuring Bach, Beethoven, and Boogie—a mix of Classical music in its original form and upbeat arrangements in rock, boogie, and blues styles. Audiences will enjoy big band jazz, film music, and works by Vivaldi, Bach, Gershwin, Dvorák, ABBA, and Duke Ellington. Book now at Webtickets.
