About

It was possibly the most unlikely love affair of all time. She was a notorious woman, the daring, cigarette-smoking French novelist Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin, who wrote under the pseudonym George Sand. He was the sensitive and tormented but brilliant pianist Frédéric Chopin. This small masterpiece portrays their tempestuous relationship through their own words and music – two artists who passionately loved and tormented each other, but also created sublime works of art.
