The Soweto Camp Festival is a 3-day camping and musical festival that takes place annually during the Easter Weekend (Friday - Sunday).
Celebrating 5 years in 2017, we are going #OFFGRID. We plan to plant 1000 trees around Soweto. We plan to take one primary school #OFFGRID from the proceeds of tickets sales and donations from sponsors. Lastly, we would like to get Soweto to switch off their electricity from 18:00 - 19:00 on the 14/04/17 to spread awareness about electricity consumption.
The activities to expect from the festival: quad biking, bungee jumping, Indigenous games, bicycle tour, horse & carriage tour, live bands, stalls and camping.
