4 Cups 1 Tbsp follows a timeline of the historical and contemporary events of Black women who have been involved in interracial coupling/dating.

The woman in the story represents all types of situations that black women experience from the troubled adolescent undergoing puberty, mothers, barren women, victims of diseases and women who are physically abused.
