From District Six to No Mans Land

District Six was dubbed in 1867. This after the municipality discovered that it was the last of six districts. It was a cosmopolitan comprising of diverse cultures and race groups, living in peace, harmony, respect, tolerance, giving sharing the little that they had with one another.

But this soon came to an end. A cruel and ridiculous segregation - Apartheid written years before, emerged to haunt and destroy people of colour for generations to come.
