Bergkelder

A unique tasting experience is offered to the public on the first Thursday of every month at the Bergkelder. These tastings are presented by expert winemakers or other related specialists, with different themes every month; including wine, brandy, whisky or fortified wines. The tastings begin at 17h30 for 18h00 and last about one and a half hours. This is followed by a light meal and guests have an opportunity to purchase from the Fine Wine Shop.

Join Fleur du Cap at Die Bergkelder, the famous “Cellar in the Mountain” where one of the best wine experiences in the Cape awaits you. Amble through the vaulted spaces and taste award winning wines amid thousands of bottles maturing in the cellar. The Wine Museum offers wine lovers a snapshot of the history of South African Wines. Ticket is transferable and will be deemed owned by the holder.
The cost is R40 per person and lasts +60minutes.

Treat family and friends to a choice of experiences and products at Die Bergkelder, the home of Fleur du Cap Wines. Choose from a tour & tasting in the mountain cellar to selecting products from a large selection of fine wines, spirits and wine related merchandise from the Fine Wine Centre. Available in three denominations of R100, R250 or R500. Not available for under 18’s.
