The Durban Jazz Festival is set-up as an outdoor music that brings innovation, vibrancy and variety of genres by celebrating jazz and afro jazz music, live in an open-air setting, highlighting national and local favourite artists.
The audience Interacts with music in a relaxed, exciting and enjoyable atmosphere as patrons allowed to bring their own camp chairs, braai stands, cooler boxes (no glass bottles) and umbrellas - enjoying the atmosphere whilst taking part in the activities the festival has to offer.
