A CHOIR ON A HILL

“A CHOIR ON A HILL! Wits Choir Celebrates 60 years – thinking back, looking forward” commemorates this iconic choir’s 60th birthday. This event on 14 and 15 October at the Old Fort, Constitution Hill will take on the atmosphere of a music festival during which the Choir will perform songs from its 60-year history. They will also collaborate with a live band and feature other ensembles and choirs.

The audience can expect a multi-sensory experience with beautiful singing and audio-visual footage; an exhibit of Wits Choir memorabilia and witness looped footage on screens across the performance venues of nostalgic congratulatory messages from alumni and previous conductors, and from choirs around the world.
