The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady with The Charles Mingus Ensemble

Join us as we restart the Wits Concert Series in the newly built Chris Seabrooke Music Hall, a state-of-the-art recital hall with world class acoustics. The Charles Mingus Ensemble directed by Prof. Martin Zenker performs ‘The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady’ in the 100th year since the birth of legendary American bassist, composer, arranger, and poet: Charles Mingus. Wits is thrilled to welcome this ensemble from The University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich for a rare opportunity to hear this jazz masterpiece.
