On the 30th of November 2023 the club in collaboration with the Castle Freedom Park, District 6 Museum and Iziko will be hosting the annual Slave Walk, a 10km road race and the 5km walk.
In addition to the 10km road race a 5km slave emancipation commencing at 10pm at night, finishing at midnight and into the 1st of December which is the day the emancipated were set free in 1838.
