Embo is a commemorative programme that promotes indigenous forms of music and the commemoration of important historic moments through the Afrocentric lens. The central theme for this year centres around the commemoration of the Centenary of our liberation struggle icon and Pan Africanist leader Prof Mangaliso Robert Sobukwe and reflecting on his life and times.
