Tshwane Youth Arts Festival

The Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, founded in 1994, is presented each year on the Opera Stage of the State Theatre and runs over a period of 22 days giving more than 190 schools in the greater Gauteng and surrounding areas the opportunity of participating.

This Festival inspires children of diverse cultures to make a
difference in their lives never to be forgotten. Our youth, through the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, are given the opportunity of expressing themselves and representing their school, in a variety of the Arts disciplines.

They are passionate about what they do and the way they go about doing it.
They have over the years obtained an incredible appreciation for one another and have even made a difference in each other’s lives.
They have become proud South Africans and celebrate this every year during the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival.

Children under 2yrs can sit on parent’s lap. If a chair is occupied – full price!!
