La Traviata - The Ballet

One of Joburg Ballet’s most admired productions, La Traviata-The Ballet by acclaimed choreographer Veronica Paeper, comes to the Teatro Montecasino for five performances on 2, 3 and 4 August. Based on the story of the Lady of the Camellias, La Traviata-The Ballet presents a moving portrait of a woman who sacrifices all for love. Set in 19th century Paris, the ballet is danced to the unforgettable music of Verdi’s opera La Traviata arranged and adapted for the ballet. Starring Joburg Ballet’s leading dancers.
