Nelson Mandela Day at EARTHBOX

This Mandela Day, you’re invited to give 67 minutes of service to supporting children of the local community. Imibala offers a series of highly successful programmes that assist children from impoverished circumstances nuture their creativity and support their academic learning by providing workshops, skills and material support. Along with 22 amazing kids from Imibala’s awards programme, we’ll be decorating backpacks to donate to kids from the local community. EARTHBOX has already donated the 22 backpacks for the Imibala kids to decorate, so be sure to come and join in the fun to decorate and donate yours so more kids can benefit.

Attendance is free for adults and children aged 10 and older. Book your spot by purchasing a backpack to decorate and donate.

For those feeling more generous there is also an opportunity to sponsor a child’s uniform needs for a year. This can be done online or at EARTHBOX. All proceeds go to the Imibala Trust's School Clothing Programme.
