Full Circle brings together violinist Johanna Roos and pianist Roelof Temmingh Jnr, both distinguished alumni of the Royal College of Music in London, for a captivating performance of Roelof Temmingh Snr’s "Sonata for Violin and Piano." Johanna, who originally performed this work in 1993, had the unique privilege of receiving invaluable feedback from the late composer himself.

The program delves into a rich tapestry of emotions and soundscapes, showcasing Schubert’s monumental "Fantasy in C major, D934," a piece celebrated for its lyrical beauty and complexity. Also featured is Poulenc’s heartfelt "Sonata for Violin and Piano, FP 119," dedicated to the Spanish poet Lorca, with its evocative guitar-like effects in the violin. Beethoven’s "6th Violin Sonata," a gem of his innovative writing, rounds out the program with its brilliant interplay between piano and violin.
