"Mehlala" is a powerful story that follows the journey of a young girl named Lethabo, as she ventures to Johannesburg in search of her mother in the fictional township of Lebone. Directed by the esteemed Billy Langa (Standard Bank Young Artist award winner for 2023), assistant directed by 2nd year student Thami Gxubane, and performed by students of the Market Theatre Laboratory.
