This event is part of the City of Joburg Arts Alive Festival. It is a full-day, family-friendly event that brings together dance, music, fashion, storytelling, and visual arts in an engaging and inclusive atmosphere. The event takes place across key locations in Newtown; there's vibey a dance market at the Newtown Precinct Park, workshops and masterclasses at the Vuyani Dance studios and at Moving into Dance. There are dance-related and food stalls, storytelling under a tree at the Newtown Precinct Park, a children's play area with indigenous games, jumping castles and face painting, and a performance stage showcasing young artists.
