Sibikwa Arts Centre’s BODY MOVES International Inclusive Dance Festival, in partnership with Mark Smith Productions, Very Easy Productions and the Market Theatre, presents electrifying dance performances SYNERGY & SYNERGY 2.0 by UK choreographer Mark Smith in collaboration with UK-SA inclusive ensembles, reflecting on the impact of climate change on disabled communities. Also featured is Bells & Sirens 2, a bold piece that explores identity and expression, choreographed by SA’s Thapelo Kotlolo.

A unique piece by 4 UK-SA dancers exploring themes of disinformation, power and control; performed alongside Mark Smith’s SYNERGY 2.0 with 4 SA dancers, creating a powerful conversation exploring the end of Earth and the viability of life on other planets for disabled people. Also featured is Bells & Sirens 2 by SA’s Thapelo Kotlolo. A bold piece that delves into the world of queer club culture as a safe space in an unsafe society.
