Sesfikile Theatre Production, created and directed by Moses Mathe is a new theatre project that uses drama, poetry, traditional music, afro fusion, gum boots dancing and kofifi dance to confront issues that exist in South Africa today.
The play runs for 2 hours, with a cast of 12 vibrant actors who play multiple characters to tell stories about abuse while also educating the audience about the origin of gum boot dancing and other South African historic facts. This team of young people would like to see the production company going national and international ,taking the messages to the ends of the globe, so that only then they can say that they have arrived “sesfikile”.
