Eastern Cape born, Cape Town based artist Unathi Mkonto, is the current artist-in-residence at the Zeitz MOCAA as part of the Atelier residency programme. Mkonto’s artwork combine his interests of art, design, and architecture. His studio residency, ‘TO LET,’ soon to close, is a maze of constructions that think about how people interact with “the edge of the city.” We invite participants to come play in the February Family Learning Workshop, and construct their own imaginary African city inspired by Mkonto’s practice.
Children enter for free and must be accompanied by an adult.
R250 per entry or free with museum membership (from R290 pp).
