Zeitz MOCAA: The Stories that Ran Away Book Launch and Exhibition Opening

The Zeitz MOCAA Centre for Art Education is delighted to announce the launch of the first series of storybooks for children inspired by the museum's exhibition for children, AND SO THE STORIES RAN AWAY, CURATED IN 2019.

The first four titles in this series exploring themes, of journey, creation and self-discovery originate from Africa and are the first titles of more to come that will reveal the richness of stories from Africa.

In the spirit of beginnings this project celebrates and introduces first time storyteller and illustrator, Meridian Berndt, and first time illustrators, Jax Lamb, Mandy Wamono and Jill Joubert who have captured the essence of each story with their magical chara
