The title of the October Family Learning workshop, is Soaring Silos. We will be making a windsock kite that is inspired by the shape of the individual cylindrical silos of the building that was built 100 years ago. The Soaring Silos kite will be made from a variety of materials, and participants can choose to embellish it inspired by any visual aspect/s of the building or artworks in the museum’s exhibitions.
Participants must make their way down to the Centre for Art Education (CFAE) on level -1 of the museum by 10.10 am. The workshop will begin promptly at 10.15 am with a visit to the artworks, where applicable.
Cost:
Children enter for free and must be accompanied by an adult.
R250 per entry or free with membership (from R290 pp). Please bring your valid membership card to participate in the workshop.
