The third finalists’ concert in the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra’s SA Composers’ Competition will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 19:00 at the Hugo Lambrechts Auditorium in Parow.
Jeremy Silver will be on the podium. The winning composition will be announced that night at the concert, which will also be live streamed.
His competition will feature five of the 21 works submitted, as well as the premiere of a new piece by the 2nd compettition winner, Lize Briel.

Spectrums of Hues and Obscure Shapes by Chesney Palmer
The Watcher of the South by Caryn Jessica Pretorius
Sunset Hues by Hein Roelofse.
The winners will receive a cash prize and a commission for a new piece as well as the position of composer-in-residence for one year.
