St John’s College presents the Battle of the Bands — the inaugural Prep and College Contemporary Live Music Competition.
Featuring five Prep bands, five College bands, and three special guest performances, this promises to be an exciting showcase of live contemporary music.
Created to inspire the next generation of South African rockstars, the competition offers young musicians the opportunity to gain performance experience, receive constructive feedback from an established industry panel, and be motivated to continue writing and performing original music.

Lots of food and merchandise stalls will be open throughout the event pomising a great day out for all.
Please note that the following items are not permitted: food, drinks, alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, hubbly-bubbly, drugs, flammable items (including deodorant and perfume), sharp objects, weapons, and medicine without a doctor’s script.
