"Impiliso"(Healing)

Impiliso (Healing), produced by the internationally acclaimed Mninawa Mangweni under the Mandela Bay Theatre Complex’s Isakhono Award for Musical Theatre and Dance, is a profoundly moving dance production that stands as a bridge between contemporary expression and African rhythmic movement.
Through each gesture, the body speaks what words cannot; the body remembers where the mind has forgotten; the spirit heals where history has broken, and the spirit remembers what time has tried to erase. Impiliso is both a cry and a cleansing, a dance of remembrance, endurance, and return.
