UCT Day Benefit Concert with Dizu Plaatjies and Ibuyambo

Enjoy an incredible evening of homegrown music performed by Dizu Plaatjies and Ibuyambo and help UCT raise funds for student fee debt. The UCT Day Benefit Concert 2024 pays tribute to an African music legend, a UCT treasure, who retires at the end of this year. Following sold-out concerts in May, Dizu will perform one final time with his students from the South African College of Music, guest artist, Thongo Tutsu and friends. He has chosen to donate all proceeds from the ticket sales to the ‘UCT Unlocking Futures Bursary Fund’ to ensure bright futures. Show your support too.
