A drama showcase by Lits'omong youth development group.
Performers are aged between 7 years to 21 years, under the directorship of the programme. Facilitators: Lenasia Meyer, Michael Mazibuko, Xolani Dlamini and Lebohang Moroe.
The girl, The village and the Magical Tree is a fictional play which focuses on Katalina, a young girl who finds herself caught between the cannibals and the animals, which are the protectors of the community.
These creatures don't understand each other and are in constant battle. As Katalina possess unusual powers, she is the only one to bring peace between the two groups whose leaders have too much pride and don't want to coexist.
