July Family Learning Workshop: Commemorating Legends & Heroes

Inspired by Mandela Day and Nigerian-born, British artist, Mary Evans’ use of paper-based materials and her installation, Recollective Plates, currently on view in her solo exhibition 'GILT', on level 1 at Zeitz MOCAA, the July Family Learning Workshop participants will create their own commemorative plate to honour their legend and hero. Participants must make their way down to the Centre for Art Education (CFAE) on level -1 of the museum by 10.10 am. The workshop will begin promptly at 10.15 am with a visit to the artworks, where applicable.
