The Zeitz MOCAA’s flagship exhibition, 'When We See Us: A Century of Black Figuration in Painting' currently on show, is a collection of paintings created by Black artists from around the world that explore Black self-representation. Inspired by the paintings on exhibit depicting the human figure in different positions, in the August Family Learning Workshop participants will explore the theme of figuration and be guided through the process of moving from 2D to 3D to create their own figures with paper and plasticine.
Children enter for free and must be accompanied by an adult. R230 per entry or free with membership (R290 pp).
