In Nigerian-born, British artist Mary Evans solo exhibition 'GILT' on level 1 at Zeitz MOCAA, is a series of work called 'Please Do Not Bend' made from brown paper envelopes that speak to the polite nature of notices that are found in public spaces in the UK. Inspired by this series and Evans' use of paper-based disposable materials, the participants in the October Family Learning Workshop will create their own envelope artworks that explore politeness and culture. Materials and equipment are provided along with a snack break.
Children enter for free and must be accompanied by an adult.
