Three musicians from the Maties Jazz Society present a unique blend of classical and jazz. Their program features works by Chopin, Beethoven, Hilton Schilder,
and original compositions. Joshua, a versatile BMus classical guitar student, bridges classical and contemporary styles. Dylan, a percussionist and bassist, has won major
competitions and holds multiple music degrees cum laude. Nathaniel, a trombonist specializing in classical and jazz, studied under Ian Smith and Nick Green, with further training in Munich under Martin Zenker.

Multi-award-winning actress, Fiona plays Stella Goldschlag,living illegally in war-torn Berlin and becoming embroiled in a murky world of treachery. It is a genius solo performance of
a complex character – charismatic, charming and dangerous.

Ramon is a renowned pianist, bandleader, and composer in Cape Jazz. He has performed globally and now leads Stellenbosch University’s jazz division. Leslie, a celebrated cabaret and jazz artist from Cape Town’s District Six, blends R&B, swing, and big band styles.
Annemie, one of Cape Jazz’s top drummers, has performed at major festivals locally and abroad and co-founded the acclaimed Lady Day Big Band.

This show evokes memories of the iconic Cape Town theatre venues such as the Luxurama and Three Arts Theatre in Wynberg and the People’s Space Theatre in the city centre.
