David is the first person to have run the length of the Great Wall of China in both
directions. Since then he has undertaken ten more arduous, breathtaking adventures, and has recently completing a 3000 km run from California to Omaha, USA, adding to his life’s lessons. David turned to extreme adventurism to create awareness and raise funds to assist children born with cleft palates and facilitate their corrective surgery.

Finuala has published both poetry and novels, winning the Ingrid Jonker, the Olive Schreiner, the Herman
Charles Bosman and the MNet prizes. John presents the PM Drive on CapeTalk. Before joining
the station in 1997 he was with the SABC and spent some years as a freelance Africa reporter. That followed an indifferent decade as a jobbing actor. He can’t write poetry for toffee, but he does love reading it, and, even more, reading it aloud in company.

Cape Town’s best-loved and oldest improv troupe, ImproGuise, will delight the whole family with a one-off, never-to-be-repeated improv show.
